Condos Downtown San Diego…

…usually we provide information like how many condos downtown San Diego sell per month and per year.  We research how many Downtown San Diego Condos are sold in each neighborhood and we even track what prices they sell for, the averages sales price and even the median sales price.

Last Friday somebody asked me how many Downtown San Diego condos there are in each neighborhood and I found myself surprised that I didn’t have an answer.  I was actually surprised, but nobody had asked me this question and I had never pulled the data from the county recorders office.

How Many Downtown San Diego Condos are there?

Well, I didn’t have an answer for how many Downtown San Diego condos exist last week, but I do this week.  This is how the numbers break down provided courtesy of First American Title:

• Little Italy – 1892
• Columbia – 1508
• Cortez Hill – 1231
• East Village – 3127
• Gaslamp / Horton Plaza – 393
• Marina Distict– 2173

If you haven’t already done the math, there are a total of 10,324 condos Downtown San Diego.  Of those 10,324 condos, there are 304 condos for sale on the San Diego MLS and there are approximately 100 developer new condos for sale.  With 93 condos sold on average per month, the condo market in downtown San Diego looks like it will have a positive future in sight.
