A Good Year – 2012

As this year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to thank my clients, colleagues, friends and family for many wonderful shared memories from 2012, and to extend my heartfelt wishes to each of you for a happy and prosperous new year. It’s hard to believe that today is New Year’s Eve!

On the real estate front, this past year has been a whirlwind of activity — busy days filled with sales, listing appointments, property showings, rental placements, broker caravans, training sessions, meetings, setting goals, and more. It’s been a fast-paced but rewarding year of continuous learning, hard work and new friendships.

Valued Working Relationships

I’ve had the good fortune of working with a talented team of professionals and wonderful, interesting clients, and I am grateful for each of these relationships. In our business, agents and clients work closely together, many times under tight deadlines. I always enjoy getting to know my clients as we visit properties together and I guide them through the details of sales transactions.

Although every real estate deal has its own challenges, I’ve learned that most problems can be solved through prompt, clear communication, understanding individual needs, listening attentively, and negotiating fairly but aggressively on my client’s behalf. I’ve come to respect and admire my clients, and have appreciated their input, humor and inspiration along the way. The rewards of this job go far beyond a commission check. My clients have taught me valuable lessons that make me better at my job. I’ve relied on their perspective and feedback as we’ve worked towards getting the best price for their home, or putting them in their new dream home.

Having represented buyers and sellers around San Diego, I’m constantly surprised by the variety of properties on the market, and the tremendous range of choices available in different price ranges. Each of the beautiful homes that I’ve sold has its own unique features and charms. These include a spectacular two-bedroom 22nd floor 1,545 square foot condominium in downtown’s high rise Electra, a small 1-bedroom beach condo in Point Loma, and a beautifully, remodeled single family home in the Del Cerro hillside with dramatic city views, with prices ranging from $145,000 to $1,000,000.

Happy New Year

It’s been a challenging yet delightful year, and I’m looking forward to new opportunities in 2013. My best wishes to you and your families for a wonderful holiday season and a new year filled with peace and happiness.
