9/1 – 9/4 – Festival of Sail 2017 | San Diego Bay – Maritime Museum of San Diego, 1492 North Harbor Dr | Sat & Sun 9am-7pm; Mon 9am-5pm | Annual event held each Labor Day weekend includes live entertainment, petting zoo, cannon battles, pirates, 150 vendors, racing yachts and more.

9/2 – Grape Stomp Festa | Menghini Winery, Julian | 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. | Ages 21+ $15, ages 6-20 $5, ages 5 & under FREE | Julian celebrates the harvest of the grapes with Italian music, dancing, Bocci ball, stomping, wine tasting and more.

9/9 – Coronado Main Street Garden Party | 919 First Ave, Coronado | 5:30 –7:30 p.m. | Annual garden party with entertainment and no-host beverages.

9/10 – Brazilian Day Festival and Parade | Belmont Park | 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. | 40 performances, carnival parade, unique handicrafts, food, live music, colorful costumes.

9/16 – Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day | San Diego coastline beaches & bay | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Major part of international coastline cleanup including all 50 states and over 100 countries.

9/15 – 9/17 – Annual San Diego Bayfair Powerboat Racing | Mission Bay – Vacation Island/ Fiesta Bay / Ski Beach / Crown Point Shores / Stony Point / Hydro Pond | $20 – $45 | All ages | 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Watch the fastest boats in the world, live entertainment, fireworks and more.

9/15 – 9/17 – Kaaboo | Del Mar Fairgrounds | See Website for Concert Schedule | A curated three-day sound voyage that combines rock-n-roll music and taste making events.

9/22 – 23rd Annual Beer Festival | Broadway Pier, Downtown San Diego | 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. | Sample from over 40 different breweries.

9/22 – 9/24 – Fall Home/Garden Show | Fri & Sat, 11am – 6pm; Sun, 10am – 5pm | Admission is $8 for adults | Featuring interior design displays, remodeling inspiration, hands-on demonstrations and educational seminars. This event showcases the newest products and hottest trends for both inside and outside the home.

9/23 – 10/31 – The Pumpkin Patch | 15954 Woods Valley Rd, Valley Center | Pumpkin Patch open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily | Pumpkin patch, pony rides, straw maze, rock climbing, kid n’ paint, food and more!

9/23 – 9/24 – Julian Apple Days Festival | Menghini Winery, Julian | 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | $5 for Adults, ages 12 & under FREE | Apple displays, music and dancing, an antique tractor display, children’s games and activities, gold panning demonstrations, a beer and wine garden, food and merchandise vendors, contests, and, of course, apple pie.

9/23 – 9/24 – Annual Pacific Islander Festival | Ski Beach, East Mission Bay | Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Culture, food, crafts & customs of the Pacific Islands.

9/24 – 10/1 – San Diego Restaurant Week | Various restaurants throughout San Diego | Lunch and Dinner | See website for participating restaurants and menus.

9/30 – 10/1 – Adams Avenue Street Fair | Adams Avenue, between 35th & Bancroft St, Normal Heights | Sat 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Sun 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. | Southern California’s largest free 2-day music festival with more than 70 artists on 6 outdoor stages, hundreds of food and arts/crafts vendors, 3 beer gardens, carnival & kids’ activities.

9/29 – 10/31 – The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park | Balboa Park – Marston Point, east of 6th Ave & Juniper | Refer to website for times | A stroll through the park you will never forget!
