Welcome to Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.  While many just come to enjoy the quality restaurants, great bars and to let loose and get wild, there is a more to the Gaslamp than the wild nightlife.  Because of it’s deep heritage and culture, the Gaslamp Association has started its very own Gaslamp Locals Lifestyle & Design Tour on the third Wednesday of each month starting at 5pm and ending at 8pm.

 This new tour will discuss the history of the Gaslamp Quarter and will focus on showcasing the Gaslamp Quarter’s shops, boutiques and galleries.

There are greater than 30 participating businesses in and around San Diego’s own historic Gaslamp Quarter. The tours usually start on the corner of Fourth and Island Avenues in the park at the William Heath Davis House (Gaslamp Museum), 410 Island Avenue, located right accross the street from Gaslamp City Square Condos.   Tours for 2011 begin on January 19th.   Visit the official website for additional information.
