Luxury Home Sales in San Diego

You may have heard … there is a lot of inventory in the high-end market. In all of San Diego County as of August 8, 2019, there are a total of 2,245 active listings priced above $1,000,000. In the last 12 months 4,535 listings above $1,000,000 sold, representing nearly six months of inventory.   Keep in mind that these are countywide numbers. The research will show varying results in different areas and price ranges, but this general information will give you a broad idea of the higher end market here.

The super high-end (or what we normally consider luxury) homes are selling. Between July 8th and August 8th, 2019, there were 8 sales closed between $5,000,000 and $15,400,000.  Search Luxury Properties Here

Of the eight transactions, five are in La Jolla, one is in Rancho Santa Fe and two are in Del Mar. A couple of them sold before hitting the market. A few others were on the market for several months so it’s difficult to determine an accurate market time with so few sales.  Take a peek:
