North Park is a neighborhood in San Diego located to the northeast of Balboa Park, north of South Park, and east of Hillcrest. The North Park sign hangs at 30th Street and University Avenue in the heart of North Park. North Park is a very diverse neighborhood and is rapidly emerging as one of San Diego’s newest cultural and artistic cores. The neighborhood hosts a variety of events including the North Park Farmer’s Market, Festival of Arts, and Ray at Night, which is a monthly festival where the art galleries on Ray Street showcase local artists.
