Mission Beach
Visit Mission Beach
Mission Beach stretches nearly 2 miles between Mission Bay to the east and Pacific Beach to the north. The boardwalk at Mission Beach is a great place to take a stroll, jog, rollerblade, ride a bike, and people watch. Beach-goers enjoy a variety of activities including surfing, body boarding, swimming, kayaking, beach volleyball, sunbathing and picnicking. Belmont Park is San Diego’s beachfront amusement center with a variety of rides, games, shopping, restaurants, a simulated wave, and the Big Dipper, the 73-foot-tall beachfront rollercoaster built in 1925. Mission Beach real estate includes upscale, pastel-colored homes, old-style cottages, condos, beach apartments and hotels.
