Coronado Bay Front Condo
Last week during the Coronado brokers’ caravan, I toured a spectacular bay front home that isn’t likely to be on the market for long. Located in the Coronado Point condominium complex on the eastern side of the island, this beauty offers unparalleled panoramic views of San Diego’s harbor and downtown.
Upon entering this 3200-square foot residence, I was immediately struck by its size and grandeur. The home has a warm, open design, with an abundance of natural light, 3 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a huge kitchen, family room, spacious living room and private deck. The single-level, ground-floor plan allows ease of movement throughout the home and eliminates the need for stairs or elevators.
The views from inside are magnificent, a breathtaking combination of landscape, bay, and city. I realized that the unobstructed views from this property are equal to those from the 20th floor of a high rise in downtown San Diego…yet it is on the first floor!
Condos at Coronado Point
The grounds at the Point are exquisitely landscaped and maintained, with winding paths and walkways bordered by lush vegetation and colorful flowers of different varieties, now in perfect bloom. From the living room, I could see colorful gardens, the pool, San Diego Bay, and downtown San Diego’s skyline.
Once outside on First Avenue, you’re steps away from a small park and sandy beach. The Coronado Point complex is adjacent the San Diego/Coronado Ferry Landing where ferry passengers disembark to stroll among cafes, art galleries, ice cream parlor, apparel, gift shops, and some of the best restaurants on the island.
Residents of Coronado Point community enjoy multiple amenities: a pool, hot tub, fitness center, clubhouse, sauna, and BBQs. This waterfront gem was recently reduced in price to $1,995,000, from $2,250,000, a remarkable value for a rare, ground floor unit of this size.
The brokers’ caravan is an open house tour of new listings held for real estate agents, and it is one of the ways we stay abreast of what’s new on the market.
