Broadstone Apartments Little Italy

Downtown San Diego is experiencing quite an abundant growth of apartment buildings for 2012 and 2013. There are a few factors that account for this, but the number one reason is that developers can get financing for apartment buildings, but they cannot get financing for new condo buildings.

Broad Stone Apartments Downtown San Diego

Little Italy is seeing quite a few new apartment buildings that will change the landscape of the community. At the north end of Little Italy is Broadstone Apartments. Broadstone is located at the south west corner of Grape and Kettner on the site of the old VW car dealership sales center and lot.

Little Italy – San Diego’s most desireable community

Broadstone will include 201 units and will feature both apartments and ground level retail space. The Broadstone Apartment Building will include 6 floors and will stand at 85 feet tall. The building includes subteranian parking which will feature 321 parking spaces.

The impact of Broadstone will be to reduce noise from Grape Steet and planes taking off at the airport for buildings like Doma Lofts and it will also contribute more retail to an already bustling Little Itlay marketplace. The expected completion date is fall of 2013

  2. Unbelievable says:

Wow. $1300 a month? Nice to see my taxes going to hook someone up better than I can afford. Oh we’ll, that’s what I get for trying in life. What does a 70 yr old need to live in little Italy for? How about Escondido? $1300 will get you a house and I’m sure you can take advantage of free food delivery etc.

  3. Chad Griffin says:

Please add me to the distro list once you have more information about this property! I’m coming into the market now and love that area.

Jesse Cruz.. That last post is beyond true. I won’t express my feelings about you.

  4. Non-judgmental says:

Before one should even consider passing judgment on someone, they should at least have the courtesy of first getting to know something about them. Unbelievable, do you have any idea what Jesse went through to be where he is now? I don’t either. So before you complain about how your tax dollars are being spent, give some thought to that.

  5. To Unbelievable:

It’s almost unbelievable that someone could be as cruel as you are in your remarks. I am 70 years old and live in a condo in Little Italy, and enjoy living here so much it would be unbelievable to you. I feel almost sorry for you, because someone as bitter and mean as you appear to be cannot be living a life worth truly living.

    TO JESSE:

You sound like an honest and good man. I just read your posts along with the others. I’m praying for you and my heartfelt wishes also that you are now living in a place that brings you peace and contentment.
